Corian® Recognised as Best-in-Class for Indoor Air Quality

With that in mind, we’re thrilled to announce that our signature material, Corian®, is the first and only solid surface material to have achieved the prestigious “Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort Gold” certification, the most ambitious low VOC-emitting label.

What is the Indoor Air Comfort Gold Certification?

This certification combines all of the EU legal regulatory requirements, together with the most stringent internationally recognised voluntary VOC emissions specifications into a single certificate. These include:

• LEED (ACP) Worldwide
• BREEAM International
• Greenguard
• EU ecolabel
• Cradle to Cradle
• SKA Rating (UK)
• French A+ Rating

The label therefore guarantees the safety of Corian® solid surface for both the product installer and the end user of the home or commercial premises. Furthermore, it supports bathroom product specifiers in the pursuit of the highest Green Building rating certification by harmonising many complex certification processes under one umbrella label.
